Page Interact runs in your browser, but it does not have to look like one. In about a minute you can add it to your Home Screen, taskbar or Dock, so it opens full screen with its own icon — no address bar, no hunting through tabs, and no signing in again every time you want to check your inbox.
There is nothing to download from the App Store or Google Play. The app you install is the website, saved as a shortcut that behaves like a native app. It updates itself, so you are always on the current version.
What you get
One tap to open. Your own Page Interact icon on the Home Screen, taskbar or Dock — no typing the address.
A real app window. Full screen, with no browser tabs or address bar in the way.
You stay signed in. The installed app keeps your session, so you are not logging in every morning.
Alerts for new messages. Page Interact can notify you when a new Messenger message lands and the app is not in front of you. On iPhone and iPad this only works once the app is on your Home Screen.
Install on iPhone or iPad
Use Safari for this. Chrome, Firefox and the in-app browsers inside Facebook or Instagram cannot add a site to your Home Screen on iOS.
Open Safari, go to app-v2.pageinteract.com and sign in.
Tap the ⋯ button at the bottom-right of the address bar, then tap the Share icon.
Scroll down the share sheet and tap Add to Home Screen.
Leave the name as Page Interact (or rename it), then tap Add.
The icon appears on your Home Screen straight away. Open it from there from now on — that launch is what gives you the full-screen app and, on iOS 16.4 or later, notifications.
Install on Android
These steps are for Chrome. Other Chromium browsers such as Edge, Brave and Samsung Internet offer the same option under a similar menu.
Open Chrome, go to app-v2.pageinteract.com and sign in.
Tap the ⋮ menu at the top-right.
Tap Install app. On older versions of Chrome the same option is called Add to Home screen or Create shortcut — any of them works.
Tap Install to confirm.
The icon lands on your Home Screen or in your app drawer, alongside your other apps.
Install on Windows or Mac
Use Chrome or Edge. Safari and Firefox on desktop do not offer app installation.
Open Chrome or Edge, go to app-v2.pageinteract.com and sign in.
Click the install icon at the right-hand end of the address bar. If it is not there, use the menu instead: in Chrome, ⋮ → Cast, save and share → Install page as app; in Edge, ⋯ → Apps → Install this site as an app.
Click Install.
Page Interact opens in its own window with no tabs. Pin it to your taskbar or keep it in your Dock and it behaves like any other desktop app.
Turn on alerts for new messages
Open the app from its new icon and allow notifications when your browser asks. Page Interact then alerts you when a new Messenger message arrives and the app is not the window you are looking at, so you can leave it closed and still catch a lead. Workspace owners and team members with inbox access both receive them.
Two things worth knowing:
On iPhone and iPad, install first. A Safari tab cannot receive notifications — only the Home Screen version can, on iOS 16.4 or later.
Dismissed the prompt? Re-enable it in your browser’s site settings for app-v2.pageinteract.com, or on iPhone under Settings → Notifications → Page Interact.
If you do not see the install option
What you see | Likely cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
No Add to Home Screen on iPhone | You are in Chrome, Firefox, or a browser opened inside another app | Open app-v2.pageinteract.com in Safari and try again |
No install icon in the desktop address bar | It is already installed, or the browser does not support it | Check your installed apps first, then switch to Chrome or Edge |
The menu offers Create shortcut, not Install app | An older version of Chrome | Use it — tick Open as window if you are offered the choice |
Links open in the browser, not the app | You followed a link rather than launching the icon | Open Page Interact from its icon to get the app window |
The app looks out of date | A cached version is still loaded | Close the app completely and reopen it from the icon |
Removing the app
On a phone, press and hold the icon and choose to delete or uninstall it, exactly as you would with any app. On desktop, open Page Interact, click the ⋮ menu in its window and choose Uninstall. Removing the app never touches your account, your pages or your message balance — you can reinstall it whenever you like, or keep using Page Interact in a normal browser tab.
