How to Install the Page Interact App on iPhone, Android and Desktop

Applies to Page Interact V2

Getting started

Short answer

Page Interact installs straight from your browser — there is no app store download. On iPhone or iPad, open app-v2.pageinteract.com in Safari, tap the ⋯ button, then Share, then Add to Home Screen. On Android, open the same address in Chrome and tap ⋮ → Install app. On Windows or Mac, click the install icon in the Chrome or Edge address bar. It takes about a minute and keeps you signed in.

Page Interact runs in your browser, but it does not have to look like one. In about a minute you can add it to your Home Screen, taskbar or Dock, so it opens full screen with its own icon — no address bar, no hunting through tabs, and no signing in again every time you want to check your inbox.

There is nothing to download from the App Store or Google Play. The app you install is the website, saved as a shortcut that behaves like a native app. It updates itself, so you are always on the current version.

What you get

  • One tap to open. Your own Page Interact icon on the Home Screen, taskbar or Dock — no typing the address.

  • A real app window. Full screen, with no browser tabs or address bar in the way.

  • You stay signed in. The installed app keeps your session, so you are not logging in every morning.

  • Alerts for new messages. Page Interact can notify you when a new Messenger message lands and the app is not in front of you. On iPhone and iPad this only works once the app is on your Home Screen.

Install on iPhone or iPad

Use Safari for this. Chrome, Firefox and the in-app browsers inside Facebook or Instagram cannot add a site to your Home Screen on iOS.

  1. Open Safari, go to app-v2.pageinteract.com and sign in.

  2. Tap the button at the bottom-right of the address bar, then tap the Share icon.

  3. Scroll down the share sheet and tap Add to Home Screen.

  4. Leave the name as Page Interact (or rename it), then tap Add.

The icon appears on your Home Screen straight away. Open it from there from now on — that launch is what gives you the full-screen app and, on iOS 16.4 or later, notifications.

Install on Android

These steps are for Chrome. Other Chromium browsers such as Edge, Brave and Samsung Internet offer the same option under a similar menu.

  1. Open Chrome, go to app-v2.pageinteract.com and sign in.

  2. Tap the menu at the top-right.

  3. Tap Install app. On older versions of Chrome the same option is called Add to Home screen or Create shortcut — any of them works.

  4. Tap Install to confirm.

The icon lands on your Home Screen or in your app drawer, alongside your other apps.

Install on Windows or Mac

Use Chrome or Edge. Safari and Firefox on desktop do not offer app installation.

  1. Open Chrome or Edge, go to app-v2.pageinteract.com and sign in.

  2. Click the install icon at the right-hand end of the address bar. If it is not there, use the menu instead: in Chrome, ⋮ → Cast, save and share → Install page as app; in Edge, ⋯ → Apps → Install this site as an app.

  3. Click Install.

Page Interact opens in its own window with no tabs. Pin it to your taskbar or keep it in your Dock and it behaves like any other desktop app.

Turn on alerts for new messages

Open the app from its new icon and allow notifications when your browser asks. Page Interact then alerts you when a new Messenger message arrives and the app is not the window you are looking at, so you can leave it closed and still catch a lead. Workspace owners and team members with inbox access both receive them.

Two things worth knowing:

  • On iPhone and iPad, install first. A Safari tab cannot receive notifications — only the Home Screen version can, on iOS 16.4 or later.

  • Dismissed the prompt? Re-enable it in your browser’s site settings for app-v2.pageinteract.com, or on iPhone under Settings → Notifications → Page Interact.

Removing the app

On a phone, press and hold the icon and choose to delete or uninstall it, exactly as you would with any app. On desktop, open Page Interact, click the menu in its window and choose Uninstall. Removing the app never touches your account, your pages or your message balance — you can reinstall it whenever you like, or keep using Page Interact in a normal browser tab.

Frequently asked questions

Does Page Interact have a mobile app?

Yes — Page Interact installs as an app on iPhone, iPad and Android, but you install it from your browser rather than an app store. Open app-v2.pageinteract.com, add it to your Home Screen, and it runs full screen with its own icon, your usual login and the same data as the desktop version.

Is Page Interact on the App Store or Google Play?

No, and it does not need to be. Page Interact is installed straight from Safari or Chrome in a few taps. There is no store listing to find, no download to wait for, and updates arrive on their own — you always open the current version.

Can I get notifications for new Facebook messages on my phone?

Yes. Install Page Interact on your Home Screen, open it from the icon and allow notifications when prompted. You will then be alerted when a new Messenger message arrives while the app is closed or in the background. On iPhone and iPad this requires iOS 16.4 or later, and it only works from the installed app — a Safari tab cannot receive notifications.

Do I have to sign in every time I open the app?

No. The installed app keeps you signed in between sessions, the same way the browser does, so day-to-day you tap the icon and land straight in your inbox.

How much storage does installing use?

Very little. You are saving a shortcut plus a small cache of the app’s interface — a few megabytes, not a full application download. Your leads, conversations and campaigns stay on our servers, not on your device.

Can my team members install it too?

Yes. Team members follow exactly the same steps, then sign in at /member/sign-in with your workspace ID, their own email and their password. Members with inbox access get new-message notifications on their own device, filtered to the Facebook pages you gave them.

Which browsers can install Page Interact?

Safari on iPhone and iPad; Chrome, Edge, Brave or Samsung Internet on Android; Chrome or Edge on Windows and Mac. Firefox and desktop Safari do not offer app installation, but Page Interact still works normally in a tab there.

How do I uninstall it?

On a phone, press and hold the icon and delete it like any other app. On desktop, open Page Interact, click the ⋮ menu inside its window and choose Uninstall. Nothing about your account, pages or message balance changes.
